Jeff "Cog" Coggin

Program Director & Career / Workforce Strategist

Mr. Coggin is the Company President and "CareerKwest USA" Program Director for Coggin Operations Group, Worldwide headquartered in Auburn, Alabama. Mr. Coggin has nearly 30 years of military and civilian experience in human capital development and resource management. During his career, Mr. Coggin has traveled and worked extensively across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.

During his 24 years of active-duty service, Mr. Coggin served in both the United States Air Force and Mississippi Air National Guard. Early in his military career, Mr. Coggin was an enlisted personnel specialist and also a Master Instructor in the Air Force's Personnel Apprentice Course. Later after receiving his commission as an Air Force Officer, he served as a financial management, base support, and logistics officer. Later in his Air Force career, Mr. Coggin was a Squadron Commander and Comptroller where he managed operating budgets exceeding $10B dollars supporting home-station and combat operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq. During his final military assignment, Mr. Coggin was the Chief of Leadership and Communication Studies in the Defense Financial Management and Comptroller School (DFM&CS) at Air University (Eaker Center for Professional Development) in Montgomery, Alabama.

In his civilian work, Mr. Coggin has taught undergraduate business courses for several universities as an Adjunct Professor. These schools include Huntingdon College (Montgomery, AL), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Biloxi/Gulfport, MS), and William-Carey University (Gulfport, MS). Following his retirement from the military, Mr. Coggin served as a Joint Training and Exercise Specialist for Special Operations Command-Africa. Mr. Coggin was also employed as the Air Force Junior ROTC Senior Aerospace Science Instructor and Assistant High School Football Coach at Aberdeen High School, Mississippi.

Mr. Coggin's community service activities include serving as the Vice President and Board Member for the Alliance for Opportunity and Development (www.aod-alabama.org). Mr. Coggin is also a member of the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) Program Advisory Committee in Atlanta, Georgia and is an active member of the Parent Leadership Committee for Auburn University's College of Engineering.
